Students’ Services Center
Student's Services Center ("SSC") was established at Western University in December 1999 with the support of USAID. SSC is regulated and covers a number of activity directions.
The objectives of the Center is to create favourable conditions for a well-rounded education and balanced intellectual and cultural development of students; to improve their professional training, and support Long Lind traditions of Western University in respect of its alumni.The Center provides various kinds of programs. The main activities include organization of internship for students, various training’s which help students to be successful in job interviews, and to help students in finding suitable job places.
Students have the opportunity to benefit from the recommendations as how to prepare for job interviews or how to write a good resume. The Center has created a database on all students and faculty members of the University.
The Center places a significant emphasis on work with graduates. Through self-learning and realisation of interests graduates move to a more serious stage of career planning. Since the date of establishment the Center has helped hundreds of students and graduates in finding successful jobs. One of the strategic objectives of the Center is to expand its activities and services outside the University.
